We celebrate the life of Dr. William [Bill] Lawrence Nichols, Jr, who passed away suddenly on September 7, 2022, at his home. Dr. Nichols was an esteemed hematologist who specialized in hemostasis. What a loss. He will be
What a loss. He will be missed. I was one of a fortunate few to be invited to stay at the family cabin on Balsam Lake. It will forever be one of my favorite USA memories. His hematology career was synonymous with the Mayo Clinic. I feel the loss both personally and professionally. I am sure that I am not alone. My sincere condolences and heart-felt wishes to his wife Sharon, his family and colleagues. May he rest in peace.
