George received an inquiry from a commercial source asking if the collector could first transfer a measured amount of anticoagulant into the collection syringe before collecting whole blood, which he discussed with colleague Dave McGlasson. We expressed concern about drawing up the precise amount of anticoagulant to provide the proper blood/AC ratio.
