Dorothy (Dot) Adcock-Funk, MD is Medical and Laboratory Director of Esoterix Coagulation, with laboratories in Englewood, CO, Phoenix, AZ, and Muncie, IN. Dr. Adcock is an appointed member of the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (formerly NCCLS) Area Committee on Hematology and has authored a number of CLSI guidelines. She is chair of the Hematology and Pathology Device Panel for the Food and Drug Administration and is active on national committees for both the American Society for Clinical Pathologists and the College of American Pathologists.She also serves as a member of the CAP Coagulation Resource Committee. She is the appointed secretary of the North American Specialized Coagulation Laboratory Association (NASCOLA). She lectures on a national level for the ASCP and a variety of laboratory oriented companies as well as provides Grand Rounds for hospitals across the country. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in the area of hemostasis.
